Earth hour is an hour were you turn off all electrical appliances for an hour to bring awareness to global warming and the environment.
To celebrate and bring awareness in our own way we decided to meet at our youth centre.
We sat just in candle light for an hour with Jasper (one of our volunteers) running a drum circle workshop, and performing a candle lit acoustic guitar session.
It was intimate and fun, but it also made us appreciate time with out electricity and gave us time to reflect on global warming and the environment.

The Jamjar has been set up as a fully equipped music space.
Aimed at young people getting into music.
You can book a session or just drop-in and pick up any of the instruments and have a go.
If you want to learn any of the instruments we have loads of music teachers you can book lessons with.
The Jamjar has been designed for young people.
As well as being a great music studio space it is also unique and visually interesting.
We have installed sound reactive LED stools and LED lighting around the drum platform, which all helps making the Jamjar a creative space.
Please call in to see it for yourself.
