Tom and Adie have designed a new website scheduled to launch near the end of January. The new site will have loads more information about the Drop Inn. We have decided it will have 10 pages to browse through instead of only 4. You will be able to see some of the attractions and read about why we built them. On the existing site there is no information about the training we do, nothing about the Jamjar (which accounts for the music side of the Drop Inn), and there is no information about the national award winning safe raves and interactive graffiti wall. The new site will also include the new SYC (Skate Youth Collective - indoor skate park). The new expansion of the Inclusion project will be explained in detail with links to our partners. The new site will take over a month to produce but we are really excited with the new idea's, so look forward to the launch at the end of Jan!!

We partnered up with the Rotary Club at Morrisons to help shoppers pack their bags. We raised quite a bit of money and had a cheerful time. Some of the Young Freshers were absolute star's and became really quick at packing bags. All the participant said they would like to do it again, because it was a lot of fun. So A Big Thank You to everyone that helped out!

There are a few of our young people who have achieved the V50 from Vinspired. We are trying to get 20 of our Young people through it first. The staff are on their Vimpacts. It's all really positive work!!

The freshers Christmas Party was just as crazy as the other party. There was less people but an equally crazy and fun atmosphere. There was all the silly games, like the eat as much chocolate as you can wearing hats, gloves, and scarf before the next person roles a six on a dice.
The Freshers also played the forfeit pass the parcel with some of the worse forfeits replaced with merry Christmas messages. No drinking a cup of water through the person on your lefts sock. Although there was the drinking a cup of water upside down.

The first visit was so enjoyable, The Drop Inn team was kindly asked to bring their staff and drums again for another session.

The Drop Inn Christmas Party wouldn't be right with out the infamous Forfeit Pass the Parcel. It was a really busy night with more people than last year joining in all the silly games. It was a brilliant atmosphere, and lots of fun.
Yeah, winner of pass the balloon through the legs relay!

This will be the Drop Inn's News Bulletin. From the last Trustee meeting the secretary Ann Ward came up with the idea of posting out a news update every month in the new year. This idea has come about because of the struggle to arrange meeting for everyones convenience. We are thinking of changing the structure in the new year, to having only two meetings instead of 6, any other meetings will be arranged in groups by appointment. Everyone voted for this great new idea of giving everyone an update each month via email, post and downloadable pages form the Blog. This way the updates are accessible for everyone involved and interested in what the Drop Inn is achieving each month. The new system will be more convenient all round. Look out for the News Pages in the New Year!! D-i x
The Drop Inn Teamed up with Peter Davies to help him do the Christmas festivities. There was a tea room, a few stalls and lots of carol singing.
It was a really good turn out. With young and older people flocking from everywhere. It kept all the Drop Inn people on there toes handing out sweets and carol sheet to everyone that entered. The tea rooms were the busiest though with Libby and Syeven rushed off there feet with orders of warm drinks and soup. It was such a good atmosphere, so if you missed it make sure you don't miss the next one!
