Last Freshers 2009/2010
There was quite a few year 7 + 8's turn out for the Last Freshers night of 2010. We have decided to stop the Freshers Nights because the Younger ones have now got used to the Drop Inn environment and are confident with the staff and other Young People. There is some of the year 7 + 8's joining in with the film project on Thursday Nights. The other reason is we don't have enough staff to cover 4 and 5 nights a week with all the other project nights. Freshers has been brilliant we hope everyone enjoyed it as much as the staff did! Freshers will start again in September for the Next Year 7 + 8's.

Straw Wars
We found a load of Macdonalds Straws and chickpea's in the cupboard and handed them out to some of the Young People. With in 10 minutes The Drop Inn became a battle field with people hiding behind doors and ducking under sofa's. It was a lot of fun but left an unbelievable mess. Thank You to all the Young People who did help clean up.
Everybody hiding behind the bar waiting for a chick pea ambush! One of the Young People is wearing protective head gear because the pea's hurt in close range combat.

Visit From Steve Holmes
We've had a visit form Steve Holmes one of the leading Drug researchers in the country. He was really impressed with the research we have been doing and the good practice of how we tackle drug problems.
The research we have been doing on Meow Meow (M-kat) will be check by Steve before we send it out.

Finished Skate Ramp
The Finished Skate Ramp. Now we just need to get the insurance cover, and safety equipment so the under 18's can skate it!! It will be open as soon as it is safe to do so.
Nick Putting the final rail on the top of the ramp. This is the final piece to be added to the ramp before it is safe to skate.
Finishing the last surface of the indoor skate ramp. The ramp will have four sections in total for mobility. We have limited space for a ramp this size to be out for use all the time. So this unique design makes it a very original portable indoor half pipe!!
