Knife Crime Project Launch

The Launch of the knife crime project was really successful. We had a really impressive turn out. The day it was launched was set up like an exhibition, with a Knife detector arch and a selection of different stand from other organizations working in partnership with The Drop Inn.

RE:space [1]

This is just a name for refurbishmnets being made to the Drop Inn over the next year. There are quite a few dates and weekends scheduled for the re-design of our space. We have important structural changes and so decorating changes to make. The over all picture is to use what space we've got the best we can. This year we will be looking at re-designing the lounge, and changing it into a games room, leaving us enough space in the main room for functions and a possible indoor skate park! Look for the up and coming Re:space dates and watch how we are up dating The Drop Inn Centre.

New random Graffiti session

As we keep advertising our graffiti wall we do like to see it change as frequent as possible. This is the latest instilation, which was an experiment with spay cans and paint on a white background. The results looked pretty cool but only lasted a week and a half before being covered ready for the knife crime launch (In which we needed a white wall for our exhibition.) Now the wall has been planned for some 5mm marker style art work, which will really look impressive under the U.V lighting.
